Poetry micro-chapbooks or zines are usually 10 pages or less. For the most part, they are not produced/published like books (ie. with a real binding), but instead handmade or a DIY zine-type production. Often sold at zine-fairs, pop-ups, or local shops and bookstores.

Poets and publishers have embraced this smaller stature—both in terms of size and audience—by turning them into physical art objects in limited editions.

They can be handmade or DIY'ed and easily sold!

They quick to write and produce.

They are a great start for new writers!
