Summary
• Assist in planning and conducting financial and operational audits to evaluate the effectiveness of
internal controls, risk management, and compliance with laws and regulations
• Prepare audit work papers, document findings, and conclusions in a clear and concise manner
• Analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows, to
identify any material misstatements or deviations from generally accepted accounting principles
• To assist in the delivery of financial audit and value for money work at Audited Bodies in compliance
with Audit Delivery Manuals.
• Review and test financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, cash receipts and
disbursements, and inventory
• Assist in drafting audit reports and recommendations for corrective action
• Follow up on audit findings to ensure that appropriate corrective actions have been taken
• Communicate effectively with audit team members, management, and other stakeholders
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards, auditing techniques, and industry trends.
• Working as part of a team to complete, or assist in the completion of audit tasks in line with agreed
procedures
• Use audit softwares like pro audit CCH/SQL , Inflo and many more
• Make full use of the resources and people available to find answers to queries before handing work
on to the reviewer
• Assistance with substantive audit testing and other audit work as in structed by more senior
colleagues. Able to work independently after receiving instruction.
• Perform other related duties as assigned
