FAQs

  • > About Reviews, Calls, and Meetings:

We'll communicate through two main channels: 1. Formal Communication: For administrative tasks, document exchange, and revisions, we'll use email, contra.com message tool. 2. Informal Communication: For quick questions, clarifications, and creative discussions, we can use Whatsapp.

  • > My experience working with clients from different cultures and time zones:

Having collaborated with clients from diverse backgrounds, including Macau (China) and Africa (Angola), I've developed a keen understanding of cultural nuances. To bridge language barriers, I effectively utilize English, particularly when discussing technical aspects. Visual aids and examples are also helpful in clarifying complex concepts. Regarding time zone differences, I'm flexible and can accommodate early morning or late evening meetings to ensure effective communication.

  • > How does the designer handle feedback and revisions?

Your vision for the publication is paramount. I understand that feedback can sometimes be varied, and additional revisions may be necessary. Whether it's a minor tweak or a major overhaul, I'm committed to working closely with you to ensure the final product meets your expectations. Additional reviews can be accommodated, with additional fees for significant changes.

  • > How does the review and approval process work?

I prefer reviewing designs using PDF comments. This allows for precise feedback by clicking on specific areas of the design and adding comments. If you're unfamiliar with this method, you can simply write your feedback or take a photo of a paper sketch with your desired changes.

  • > If I don't like the initial proposal?

A well-defined brief is crucial for a successful project. By sharing your vision, including references to visual styles you admire, we can ensure that the design aligns with your expectations. If the initial proposal doesn't quite match your vision, we can refine it based on your feedback.

  • > Regarding copyrights and royalties

I'll ask you to mention my name in the copyrights section as a designer. No additional fees for royalties will be incurred.
