  To assist venues in to using the proper music genre for their customers and help promote specific shows for the hired Bands/Musicians of the pre-booked events, such as the Wisconsin Annual Blues Harmonica Festival that occurs on the 3rd Friday in November and the bookings of the Blues and Jazz Experience *David “Harmonica” Miller has been in the music business since 1980 and the following statements are opinions based off many years of experience. To preserve self-worth, playing a maximum of 3 hours for gigs is a positive start. As music artists and venue owners enter into a historic phase of the music industry, it’s crucial to try to maintain the *MINIMUM pay scale for musicians, such as: $75 per person Sundays through Thursdays and $100 per musician Fridays and Saturdays based off the hired hours as stated above. Please note that larger venue capacities should command a HIGHER pay scale for the samples above, such as concerts, festivals and sizable rooms. The bottom line is to bring revenue in with the live music, so owners should match the appropriate genre to their venue and PROMOTE in tandem with musicians to increase success! Clients of David Miller Live Music or “DMLM” must either pay him following the performance via Pay with PayPal, or mail the entire prepaid fee with a cashiers check made out to “David John Miller” and sent to PO Box 14004, Milwaukee, WI 53214 at least 7 days prior to the booked date.
