I am a fast reader and will go through your book to make content, structural, and/or line edits. Whatever it take to help you meet your goals! There won't be any of me in the writing when I'm done, only more of you.
I've beta read and edited numerous novels as well as worked for a literary agency, reading manuscripts and writing reports for the agents to use when deciding who to represent. I have a high level of understanding for grammar in American English, and a keen eye for writing voice, flow, and readability.
My price is for the first 10,000 words, with option to add additional words for longer projects.
What's included
Annotated Manuscript Draft
A heavily annotated Word document, with my tracked changes and comments.
Edit Letter
An edit letter detailing my overall impression of your book, reasons and explanations for changes I have made, and analytical analysis to help you with your book's next steps. I guarantee a minimum of 1-2 pages (depending on manuscript length), but my average is at least 5.
Polished Draft (Optional)
An added service you can select will also get you a polished draft of your project, with all of my changes added into your document, ready to go.
