FAQs

• How long does a typical project take from start to finish?

  Depending on the size of the project, a website, from start to finish, could be anywhere from 2 weeks to a month. However, please let me know if there are any time constraints and I will endeavor to work around your schedule. The timeline for each project is unique and deserves a tailored approach that balances research, thorough planning, designing, efficient execution, and clear communication to ensure timely delivery without compromising quality.

• How many rounds of revisions are included?

  Each project includes up to three (3) rounds of revisions. Feel free to contact me for more information on this. This service is included in all packages.

• Who owns the website and assets after completion?

  Upon website completion, site ownership will be transferred to you or whoever is in charge of the website while I will stay on the site permissions in a role that would allow me to make changes or updates should the need arise. However, if you decide that you do not want me to stay on, I will forfeit my role and provide support on an as-needed basis.

• What platforms or technologies do you use (e.g., Webflow, WordPress, custom code)

  I mainly use Wix Editor, Wix Studio, Squarespace, and Elementor. For all other platforms, please contact me to ask.

• Do you offer post-launch support or training?

  Of course. Each project comes with one (1) month of support included. If the website requires someone to monitor and provide updates regularly, I will provide training and documentation that will support them in doing so. This service is included in all packages.

• Do clients need to provide content, or do you help with copywriting?

  Typically, I ask clients to provide me with the content they want to have on the site. This can include text, data, images, and so on. However, I also perform my own research to reference, create, and arrange content in the most effective manner for a user flow that supports business goals. As for copywriting, I typically do that myself while taking input from you, the client, and AI to help expedite the process.

• Do you provide hosting or recommend providers?

  With the platforms that I use, that being Wix, Squarespace, and Elementor (Wordpress), hosting and domains aren't typically difficult to get, and most of these have hosting included as part of the package already. For more questions on this, please feel free to contact me.

• Is basic SEO included?

  Every service includes starter SEO unless specifically requested not to. This includes the preliminary research and management of up to three (3) keywords for up to one (1) month. These keywords will also be found throughout the site in titles, headings, meta descriptions, and body text. After the basic SEO, you can either request that I continue managing the SEO on a month-to-month basis or you can find a specialist to work with you.

• Is the site optimized for mobile devices?

  Every web design service includes mobile responsiveness design for every screen size, including smart phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops. For any specific questions on this, please feel free to contact me.

• How does payment work?

  On Contra, client payments work by having the client pay the full project amount upfront at the start of the project. The payment is held securely by Contra using Stripe until the freelancer completes and delivers the work. Once the project is marked complete and approved, Contra releases the funds to the freelancer’s account. Clients do not need to join Contra to pay invoices; freelancers can send invoices to anyone worldwide, making the payment process straightforward and global. In summary, Contra’s payment system ensures secure, upfront client payments held in escrow until project completion, supporting multiple payment methods and charging transparent fees.
