Have an AI-assisted workflow that feels fragmented, confusing or harder to manage than the work itself?
I review one clearly defined workflow and turn its friction points into a practical redesign: clearer steps, information, human decisions and completion criteria.
What you receive • A current-state workflow map. • Prioritized findings, with observations separated from assumptions. • A proposed flow with clearer handoffs and human-review points. • Low-fidelity wireframes where an interface change would help. • Acceptance criteria for checking the proposed behavior. • A concise handoff document with recommended next steps.
How we work We agree on one workflow and its boundaries, review your existing materials, and clarify the intended user outcome. I then prepare the review and redesign for your feedback.
What I need from you A description of the workflow, its intended outcome, relevant screenshots or documents, and the constraints that matter. Please remove credentials and sensitive personal information.
Scope This is an analysis and design engagement, not software implementation, production deployment, a security audit or a compliance certification. Recommendations are proposed changes, not verified improvements unless separately tested.
I lead the analysis, requirements and design decisions, using AI-assisted tools where appropriate.
Options • Workflow Map ($500, 4 days): a current-state map, prioritized findings and a 30-minute call. • Review + Redesign ($1,100, 1 week): everything listed above. • Redesign + Follow-up ($1,900, 2 weeks plus one call): Review + Redesign, then a second review after your team has used the new flow for a week, with one round of adjustments. The listed price is Review + Redesign. Message me to book one of the other options.
Work I've done in StephOS • I ran this exact review on my own product first. On October 5, 2026, I reviewed the save-and-retrieve workflow in StephOS Archives. Two findings: secondary controls competed with the conversation, and the AI described a saved idea's status wrongly. StephOS now keeps the save control in collapsed message details, and the app, not the model, states what's saved. • When my own tool felt like work. On October 20, 2026, I noticed StephOS felt like a job to talk to. That became a redesign, installed the same day: one standing approval instead of a review on every message, no checkboxes under the message box, and details only on hover. • From manual choices to recall with consent. StephOS moved from choosing context by hand to automatic recall from conversations, notes and saved work the person has permitted. I chose to carry that complexity in the system rather than hand it to the person. (Installed October 18 to 19, 2026)
