FAQs
What’s the difference between a wireframe and a mockup?
A wireframe is a low-fidelity black-and-white blueprint that focuses on structure, content, and functionality. A wireframe is like an architectural drawing of a house. In contrast, a mockup is a static visual representation that includes more design elements like color, typography, and imagery, giving a clearer picture of the final look and feel.
Why do I need a User Flow? Isn’t a wireframe enough?
While a wireframe shows individual screens, a User Flow shows how a user navigates between those screens to complete a specific task. Wireframes are essential for understanding the entire user journey, identifying potential bottlenecks, and ensuring a smooth, intuitive experience, which wireframes alone can’t fully convey.
Is ERD design suitable for any database technology?
Our Logical ERDs are designed to be technology-agnostic, focusing on the underlying relationships and attributes of your data. This makes them adaptable to a variety of database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). If you have a specific database technology in mind, we can discuss providing a Physical ERD or DDL script tailored to it.
How long will the project take to complete?
The project timeframe varies depending on the complexity and scope of your product. After an initial consultation and requirements gathering, we will provide a detailed proposal with estimated timeframes for each phase.
How will we communicate and provide feedback throughout the project?
We prioritize clear and regular communication. We will schedule regular check-ins via video calls, and use collaborative tools to efficiently share designs and gather feedback. Your input is critical at every stage.
What's included
Wireframes
You'll receive a comprehensive set of wireframes, providing a visual blueprint of your product's layout and functionality. These will be delivered in an easily accessible digital format, ready for review and feedback.
User Flows
Provide clear and concise user flow diagrams that visually map out the complete paths users will take to accomplish specific tasks within your product. These are crucial for understanding the user journey and identifying potential pain points.
ERD (Entity-Relationship Diagram) Design
You'll receive a detailed ERD that illustrates the structure of your database, showing the entities (data objects), their attributes, and the relationships between them. This is vital for developers in building a robust and efficient database.
