Stop circular debates, align your team, and test a real product solution in one focused week. Facilitated by a senior product designer with over 20 years of experience.

Overview

When product, engineering, and leadership teams find themselves running in circles, it is rarely due to a lack of talent. It is almost always because of misaligned assumptions, competing priorities, or unvalidated hypotheses that drag on for months.
Bringing in an experienced outside facilitator cuts through the internal noise. I come into your team with a structured, time-tested framework to align stakeholders, reframe the core problem, and turn circular debates into testable, build-ready clarity in five days.

Why Run a Design Sprint?

A design sprint compresses months of back-and-forth debate into one structured week. It is ideal when you:
Hit a feature or roadmap wall: You know something is broken with onboarding, adoption, or conversion, but internal opinions on how to solve it are split.
Are preparing to build a high-risk 0 to 1 feature: You want to avoid committing weeks of valuable engineering bandwidth to an idea before proving users actually want it.
Need cross-functional alignment: Your product, engineering, and business leads are talking past each other and need a neutral ground to focus on the customer.
Want clear validation fast: You get qualitative, evidence-based feedback from actual users before writing a single line of production code.

Proven Facilitation Experience

I bring deep, practical facilitation experience across both lean startups and enterprise-scale cross-functional teams:
The Grand: Led end-to-end design sprints collaborating directly with product managers, executive coaches, and platform members. We tackled foundational cohort workflows, onboarding friction, and community engagement features, testing working prototypes directly with real participants to validate concepts before engineering handoff.
TED: Co-facilitated high-impact, cross-functional design sprints alongside a small group of design leads, guiding 50+ participants across engineering, media, product, and leadership. We aligned diverse teams around complex product architecture and multi-platform digital initiatives.

How the 5-Day Sprint Works

The framework adapts slightly depending on where your team is currently stuck, but follows a proven, structured cadence:
Day 1: Understand & Map
We unpack the problem space together. We interview internal experts, map the existing customer journey, and pinpoint the exact challenge to tackle for the week.
Day 2: Sketch & Ideate
Instead of brainstorming out loud where the loudest voice wins, every team member works independently to sketch concrete, detailed solutions to the chosen problem.
Day 3: Decide & Storyboard
We review the ideas objectively, vote using structured decision matrices, resolve conflicting viewpoints without politics, and turn the winning concepts into a step-by-step storyboard.
Day 4: Prototype
I transform the storyboard into a realistic, clickable prototype in Figma. It is built just well enough to feel real to users so we get genuine, unprompted reactions.
Day 5: Test & Learn
We run 5 user testing sessions with your target customers. Your team watches the live reactions, uncovering what works, what fails, and exactly what to build next.

What You Get at the End of the Week

Interactive Figma Prototype: A clickable, realistic prototype demonstrating the validated solution.
Recorded User Testing Sessions: Video recordings of interviews with 5 real users reacting to the prototype.
Executive Summary & Decision Matrix: A concise readout highlighting user insights, verified assumptions, red flags, and clear technical recommendations for engineering.
Complete Artifacts Board: Access to the organized FigJam/Miro board containing all discovery maps, sketches, and notes from the week.
