Summary

I am Maria, founder of ma.ma with more than 15 years of experience in the travel industry and digital marketing. My story began when back in 2006 I inherited Papadakis Villas, my family hotel in Crete, which faced the challenge of no clients and a minimal budget in the middle of the Greek economic crisis.
Leveraging my sales and customer service skills plus tons of creativity , I implemented innovative marketing strategies and created a compelling story for my hotel. After identifying my niche, and using attractive offers to bring guests to my hotel, I created a cluster of trusted businesses and collaborated with them in order to guarantee unique, unforgettable holidays for my guests. My little hotel soon became a success story and stayed in the top 5 of Trip advisors lists for more than 7 consecutive years!
This success allowed me to rent out my property and move to Berlin where I deepened my expertise in digital marketing. After nearly two years as a project manager at a digital agency, I transitioned to freelancing, gaining experience in app promotions, e-commerce, and B2B projects, as well as NGOs and film festivals.
My latest venture, ma.ma, reflects my passion for marketing.
