About this service

Summary

1-page website in 21 days
Our clients are early stage startups across the world who want to (a) Raise finance, (b) Acquire customers, (3) Attract talent and become the next unicorn.

Process

We develop 3 versions in 21 days to produce a site you, your customers and investors love.
Day 0-7
(1) Discovery: Intro call, questionnaire and onboarding to your Notion client portal. Use it to track your project's progress, submit tasks and upload assets.
(2) Your site objectives: In our first meeting, we use FigJam FigJam to ideate and set the direction and objective of your site.
(3) We move quickly by using (a) Your 3 closest competitors, (b) What your customers want and (c) Your USP as the building blocks of your page.
Day 0-7 outcome: Clear site objectives, Notion client portal and development plan.
Day 8-14
(4) Development begins: We build V1 of your page using best practices from YC, web development and our custom-made inspiration templates.
(5) V1 feedback meeting: You feedback on your site's first version. Our clients love how we adapt their site in the meeting, getting closer to your vision right in front of you.
(6) V2 development: Using your feedback, we develop the second version. It includes closer attention to copy, images and flow. This refinement from 75-100% takes the most time.
Day 8-14 outcome: Version 1 of 1-pager, clear feedback steps for V2, V2 in development.
Day 15-21
(7) V2 review: On day 15-17, you see and review V2 of your site. We're now 90% of the way to your finished site. We ask targeted questions for your feedback, always focussing on your customer's experience.
(8) Final version: You see your finished site in our final meeting. Request any last changes and we walk you through how to take control of your site before publishing.
(9) Publishing and handover: If we're not hosting your site, Framer makes the handover seamless. We send you a remix link to copy the site into your own project. Our 'publishing and hosting guide' takes you through the process step-by-step.
Now you can get back to building something that people want.

What's included

  • Professional 1-pager

Most YC startups get in with a 1-page website. They're perfect if you're early stage and want to test and validate an idea. You'll get navigation tabs in your header to link to your page sections, making you look professional and competent.

  • Mobile-first development

As it says, we develop your site for mobile first. This distills what we can communicate into its purest form for maximum impact. We help you refine your message, then scale it up for desktop so users on all devices know exactly what you do.

  • Communication and copywriting

Clearly stating exactly what you do is hard. Most disruptive, cutting edge startups struggle to easily explain what they do to most people. My experience in co-founding startups has taught me how to distil down your most important selling points.

  • Handover or hosting

We design and build in Framer - a disruptive no-code website builder. That means we can host your site for an ongoing fee, or hand it over so you have full control. After we send your remix link, copy it into your projects and voila, you have full control.

With Rob's guidance and great support, it does feel like we went from 0 to hero in relatively no time from having a very basic solution to show our venture, to a website that is efficient, attractive, pragmatic at communicating the complexity of our proposed work, and actionable for users, partners and collaborators. Focused, flexible, effective sessions, clear actionable items, well-fitting design options to choose from, room for creativity and feedback enabled the great result.

Rob redesigned and built our website www.wildmosaic.eco But he did far more than that. He helped me rethink our customers and value proposition. Throughout the process Rob was thoughtful, open and genuinely interested in tackling this as a business challenge rather than just a formulaic website upgrade. He was enthusiastic about experimenting with new features and developing different design concepts. I was delighted by the end result: it works well, looks great and is easy for me to edit.
