About this service

Summary

You are ready to give yourself and your books a place to reside, but you don’t need much. This service will get you what you need without an enormous price tag to go with it! I will hold your hand and walk you through the process of setting up your very own website for you and/or your book.

Process

-You apply!

-We chat to make sure we're a good fit.

-You will then be charged upfront for my services. *Note that this charge covers my labour, not the cost of domain, hosting, or themes.

-I will provide an in-depth questionnaire to understand your unique aesthetic!

-I'll help outline possible domain and host providers so you can choose what fits your needs the best.

-Now, the fun part begins! You give me a budget, and I'll find some theme options for your website.

-You provide me access to be an admin of your website, and I'll set it up! I’ll fill in descriptions for what the site should say, and you can write up the copy itself and share it with me.

-You get the chance to make sure you like the website: this is the part where you request any small tweaks you want to be made.

-Ta da! Website complete! At this point, you will remove me as the admin of the website so I no longer have access. I will provide screen recordings of myself deleting any theme files you have shared with me at this point.

FAQs

Does the price cover everything?
The price of packages only covers my creation of the website; it does not include things such as hosting, domains, or themes. I will give you some advice based on what you are looking for as to what the best choice might be for you, but you will have to ultimately choose and pay additionally for these. Pricing is subject to the provider’s discretion. I will not pay these for you during the process so as to make sure you will never face any issues in regards to being deemed the owner of something, which means that you will have to share all information or files with me so I can work with them while you still maintain ownership.
Will you maintain my website for me?
I will help create your website, but I become hands-off once the creation process is complete. I can leave you crash course on how to update and edit your website if you are not confident, though, so you can always change things in the future!
Who do you use for websites hosting?
I use Managed WordPress, but I don’t limit you to one particular host! I’ll present some options to you that might best suite your needs, and you can choose from those – or ask for more options if none appeal to you.
Do you have a refund policy?
The charges for this are fully for a service provided: as such, if the service is complete, it is non-refundable as the labour has been put in. If you are unhappy with the results, then I am more than happy to discuss potential resolutions – but I always check to make sure you are satisfied throughout the process, so that will hopefully never be an issue. If you change your mind early into the process before we have started building anything, I do offer a full refund. If you decide I am not the right fit for you, you will receive your money back. No hard feelings!
