About this service

Summary

Why?
Industrial design starts with strategy. What problem are we solving? Who are we solving for? What capabilities does the manufacturer have? How can our solution stand out against the competition? What impacts will the solution have? And most importantly, why are we doing this?
Best Practices
To arrive at a successful solutions we endure a process of expansive and contractive thinking. Fleshing out bad ideas is part of finding good ideas, which we attempt to do quickly. I explore obvious answers first - as a way to discover "first principles" - as a solid basis to find best answers.
Tools
Using each tool to it's appropriate speed, limit, and result is key. This saves time and ultimately budget.
All things start on paper. I move to 3D modeling and rendering when sketches fail to provide clarity.
Physical prototypes can range from functional models to photo ready products.
Again, each tool / phase has a proper time and use.
