I will help identify the buyer personas and audience for your product so that i can target customers in a convincing way that makes them want to purchase. This will allow me to tailor your product and its features to solve audience's challenges.
Successfully create and carry out your product marketing strategy.
I will put a strategy in place that allows me to create, build, and execute content and campaigns — this supports the steps that will lead buyer personas and customers to make a purchase.
Work with and enable sales to attract customers for your new product.
I will nurture direct relationship with the sales team. I’ll work with the sales team to identify and attract the right customers for the product at hand and provide sales enablement materials to reps to ensure they understand the product inside and out, along with its features. This way, me and my teams are on the same page in term regarding being shared with customers, allowing me to provide a consistent, on-brand experience for anyone who comes in contact with the product.
Determine your product’s positioning in the market.
One of the most important parts of my job as your product marketer is determining your product’s positioning in the market. As a product marketer, i work with the broader marketing team and the product team to tell a story about your product by answering critical questions like: Why was this product made? Whom is this product made for? What challenges does this product resolve? What makes this product unique?
Ensure your product meets the needs of your target audience.
I will make sure the product meets the needs of your customers and target audience. Through the research to determine your buyer persona and target audience, i will uncover the pain points and challenges to solve with your product.
Keep your product relevant over time
Your product needs to stay relevant over time. As needs, expectations, and challenges change and evolve, it’s my job to ensure the product marketing strategy and the products themselves remain relevant among customers. This means i will have to manage slight changes in the product marketing strategy or updates and modifications to the product itself (I’ll work with the product team, which creates the effect, to do this).
Guide marketing strategies for new products
In product marketing, I’ll pay close attention to what worked in the strategy and what didn't so I can better plan marketing strategies for new and future custom products. I’ll pay attention to where the audience is and what they are looking for. What channels got the most traction and led to more converted leads? All this information and more would be applied to marketing strategies for new products
