This is a thorough edit of your manuscript and will include two full read throughs. I will focus on sentence structure, grammar, and syntax as well as fact-checking, consistency, readability, pacing, and more. I’ll check for correct tense, style, and frequently repeated words or phrases. Along with the edits and comments on your manuscript, you’ll get a Style Guide & Editorial Feedback that will highlight your strengths and include suggestions for improvement.
What's included
Fully edited manuscript
You will receive your novel returned to you fully edited using Microsoft Word. It will contain in-line comments and changes using Track Changes. I will have gone through your entire manuscript at least twice checking for grammar, spelling, readability, structure, plot holes, sentence structure, pacing, and more.
Editorial Feedback
You will receive a separate document outlining my overall feedback for your novel. These are more overarching issues, what you've done really well on, and my suggestions moving forward.
Style Guide
The editorial feedback document will also include a style guide that contains a list of your characters, timeline, repeated words, style choices, and more.

I typically am okay with common trigger warnings but just ask that you are upfront with me and make me aware of them beforehand.
If you're nervous or concerned about hiring an editor that is completely understandable. I know it's a huge deal to trust someone else with your writing. I promise that everything I read will stay between us and will never be shown or distributed to anyone else.
