My process : I first open up Photoshop, gather all the necessary files, remove all backgrounds that I don't need and move on to step number two. Which consists of opening up Premiere Pro, cutting all the footage, gathering all my sound design, doing some light sound work. Step number 3 - open up After Effects - animate, edit and put effects wherever needed, transitions etc. Best part. After that I again open up Premiere, add some more design, double check everything - do my coloring and then render the video.
