Process

☎️ Consultation & Discussing your Vision: We'll schedule a call or a text meeting, that's very much up to your preferences, and discuss the project, your vision for the project, the scope and the timeline. An important aspect of this first contact is talking about your current mobile app and getting a deeper understand of it's current issues and your feelings about it.
📝 Setting up the proposal: If we're on the same page and we think we're going to be great partners for this project, I will set up a proposal and a contract to put pen to paper and make things official!
🔬 Research phase: Before starting the design phase, I'll conduct a deep analysis on your current mobile app to understand what it's current issues are, if available I'll use existing data that you provide and also compare your app to your competition in order to be able to finally gain you the competitive advantage that your business deserves.
🏗️ The Wireframe phase: Now we're finally getting to the exciting part. Before designing any highly-detailed prototypes, I'll start by laying out the structure of your app. This makes sure that the user flow is fully optimized from the start. As soon as that step is finished, I will start to work out the first wireframes. These wireframes show the first, rough ideas on how the app will look later.
📱 The Prototyping phase: This is the phase where you'll finally get a detailed look on how your app will look like in the end. The Prototype is what your development team will use to develop your app, so this phase requires the most polishing.
📦 Optimizing and Delivery: At this stage, the design is mostly finished. The focus lays on optimizing the design and making sure that the design is to your satisfaction. And if not, don't worry! We'll go through the project and rework the things that you believe could be improved. After this is finished, you finally have your design file and your full design system! Now it's time for your team to integrate the design and boost your business to new levels!

  • Can I provide you with feedback during the process?

    Yes! Feedback is incredibly important during the process to understand if you believe i'm meeting your needs perfectly. And no, don't worry, you won't hurt my feelings 🙂

  • How long will the redesign take?

    That very much depends on the scope of the redesign. If we're talking about redesigning 2 or 3 screens, the redesign might just take 2 or 3 days. On the other hand, if we're talking about reinventing your entire app, it might take 1-2 weeks. If your app is very large, this process can take up to 4 weeks, but I'll always give you an estimated timeframe on how long your project will take in the initial call/text.

  • A fully fleshed out Prototype, animated

    You will receive the fully fleshed out design file, usually in Figma. The design file is optimized for your development team in order to ensure that there's zero friction turning it into reality

  • Design System

    Depending on the scale of the redesign and if you already have an existing design system, you will receive a fully customized design system that is taylored towards your brand.

  • Font & Color System

    As a subcategory of the design system, you will receive a full color and font system. The fonts & colors can be decided by me or together, depending on if you're interested or already have a greater brand strategy
