• Topic of the poem.

• The choice between free verses and a meter scheme (and, if you would like the latter, the rhyme scheme, the poem form, and how many syllables you want in each verse).

• The aesthetic/scene/emotion/memory that you would like to be embodied in the poem.

• Any additional detail/request you would like me to take into consideration.

• The language of the poem (English or Italian).

• If you would like to split the poem into multiple ones (if so, also how many parts you would like).

After this the writing process will begin:

• I will craft the poem based on the requirements that you communicated to me and on the additional ideas that I came up with.

• I will proofread and edit your poem.
