FAQs
Why wouldn’t I just hire a full-time motion designer?
Good question! A full-time senior motion designer’s salary can easily exceed $100,000 per year, including benefits. Also, you might not always have enough work to keep them busy year-round. With my subscription service, you only pay when there’s work to be done, and you can pause the service when necessary, maximizing efficiency.
Is there a limit to how many requests I can submit?
Once subscribed, you’re welcome to add as many motion design requests as you like. I’ll work through them one by one, ensuring that quality is never compromised.
How fast will I receive my motion designs?
On average, most requests are completed within two days or less. However, more complex projects, such as animations or UI interactions, may take slightly longer depending on the scope.
What will I receive in 48 hours?
For most typical requests, I’ll deliver drafts within 48 hours. This can include animations, micro-interactions, or motion graphics. Larger projects may require more time, but you’ll always have visibility into the timeline.
Who is the designer?
It’s just me! As a Senior Brand & UX Motion Designer, I work directly with you on each project, ensuring consistent communication and personalized results.
How does the subscription work?
You pay a flat monthly fee for access to my motion design services. If you don’t have work for the entire month, you can pause your subscription, and the billing cycle will be adjusted accordingly.
What if I have a larger project?
Larger projects are more than welcome! For more complex work, like full-scale video or animation projects, the timeline might extend. I’ll ensure we discuss the scope and break down the work to manage expectations.
What tools do you use for motion design?
Primarily use tools like Rive, Adobe After Effects, Figma, and other industry-standard software, ensuring your designs are crafted with the highest quality.
How do I submit design requests?
I offer flexibility in how you submit requests. You can share them through Notion, Google Docs, wireframes, or even Loom screen recordings to explain ideas. I’m adaptable to your preferred workflow.
What if I don’t like the final animation?
No worries! Revisions are part of the process. I’ll work closely with you to ensure the final output meets your expectations and business goals.
Is there any design work you don't cover?
Absolutely. I do not cover the following design work: 3D modeling, Illustration design asset graphics, UI design (framework, wireframe design).
What if I only have a single request?
That's fine. You can pause your subscription when finished and return when you have additional motion design needs. There's no need to let the remainder of your subscription go to waste.
Are there any refunds if I don't like the service?
Due to the high quality nature of the work, there will be no refunds issued.
What's included
Interactive Animations
Creating dynamic, interactive animations that respond to user input. These animations improve user engagement by making interfaces more intuitive and visually appealing. Using Rive, I build animations that can be manipulated in real-time based on user actions, such as button clicks or swipes.
Micro-Interactions
Small, subtle animations that provide feedback or guide users through actions. Examples include button hovers, loading spinners, or success confirmations. These animations help create smoother, more engaging user experiences, improving the overall flow of your app or website.
Onboarding Animations
Designing animated onboarding flows that guide new users through the features of an app or service. These animations simplify complex concepts and make the learning process enjoyable, ensuring users get up to speed quickly.
Icon and UI Element Animations
Animating icons, menus, and other UI elements to create a more interactive and fluid interface. Rive allows for smooth transitions and responsive movements that enhance the user experience while maintaining consistency with your brand’s design language.
State-Based Animations
Animating different states of a UI component (e.g., hover, active, disabled). These animations help users understand what they can interact with and provide clear visual feedback, improving usability and accessibility across the application.
Loading and Transition Animations
Creating engaging loading screens and transitions between different sections or pages of an app. These animations keep users entertained while waiting for content to load and help make the experience feel seamless as they navigate through your product.
