Solidworks CAD that can be used to collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams.
Design-for-manufacturing (DFM)
3D CAD models will be created with the end manufacturing process in mind. This will ensure that 3D CAD models can be used by engineering and manufacturing teams to complete their detailed design work.
Design Research
This could include product benchmarking research to identify aesthetic trends, color/material/finish trends, and competitor products.
Ergonomic and Anthropometric Research
This would include research of the latest guidance on the physical abilities and constraints of different user populations in order ensure that a device design is intuitive and can be easily used by the end user.
