  Initial discussion to distil the end goals. Rather than "I need a React app that has a list of my projects" instead "My clients are waiting 2 weeks while I produce their work. I need to keep them updated without spending lots of my time doing it manually" We will get to the bottom of what the most important outcomes are, who this product is aimed at and how we judge success. e.g "This project is successful if we increase returning clients by 10%"

• Scoping & validation

  Turning needs of the end-users into product features through user stories. This helps us to prioritise individual features and estimate the value-effort required. "As a client of the hairdresser I want to be able to re-book my appointment"

• Tech stack proposals

  How can we build a version of your product which meets enough of the needs of your users to get it out in the real world and test it? Can we use no-code tools like Airtable, Webflow Bubble etc.? Do we need to implement custom APIs? Are we creating iOS or Android apps or only a web app? Is this an internal tool for which speed is more important than aesthetics?
