FAQs

• Will you provide the commercial extensions used on the site?

  No. The cost of acquiring any commercial extensions or subscriptions will be met by the client.

• Will the website be accessible during the upgrade?

  Yes, the upgrade will not be done on the live site but on a clone of it. This will prevent any downtime.

• Will my data be lost?

  No, an upgrade simply brings Joomla core, the extensions and template to the latest version. Your data which is in a database will remain the same.

• What will happen if i discover bugs or errors after the upgrade?

  I give support that is within the project's scope for one month after project completion. Any other support will be charged at my hourly rate.

• Can you also upgrade Joomla 1.0 or 1.5 websites?

  Joomla 1.0/1.5 can be upgraded to the latest Joomla version. It's however a more technical process that may take longer. There may be extensions used by the site that are no longer supported, such extensions will be replaced by their equivalents.

• How long will the upgrade take.

  An upgrade typically takes 2-4 days. Once i get a look at the website, i'll be able to give a more precise timeline.
