Process

1 First, you’ll need to send clean wav stems of song to us

(We recommend using WeTransfer.com, it’s free and easy to use!)

2 The engineer will check over files to make sure things are ready for mixing.

3 Upon completing the mix and master, the engineer will send a demo of completed song.

4 This is the time you can talk about any changes you’d like to be made, bearing in mind the amount of agreed revisions.

5 Once happy with the final demo, an invoice of the last 50% will then be emailed. Once this is paid, the engineer will send the finished files.

Q: What is mixing?
Mixing is the process of combining and balancing individual tracks or "stems / multitracks" of a song to create a final stereo mix that sounds good on all playback systems.
Q: How long does it take to complete a mix?
The turnaround time for mixing depends on the complexity of the project and our current workload. We will provide an estimated timeline once we receive your files and project details.
Q: What format should I send my files in for mixing?
The best file format to send for mixing is uncompressed WAV or AIFF files, at a sample rate of 44.1kHz or higher. Please do not send MP3s or other compressed formats, as they can result in lower quality sound.
Q: Can you fix a bad recording in the mixing process?
While mixing can improve the overall sound of a recording, it cannot fix major issues with the original recording. It's important to ensure that your recordings are of good quality before sending them for mixing.
