About this service

Summary

A brand audit is a comprehensive assessment of your brand’s current positioning, market performance, and overall perception. As a Brand Consultant, I will conduct an in-depth analysis of your brand across multiple touchpoints, including visual identity, messaging, audience perception, and market positioning.
Through strategic research, competitor analysis, and internal assessments, I will identify areas of strength and potential gaps, offering actionable insights to optimize your brand’s authenticity and consistency. Whether you're looking to refresh your brand or ensure it resonates with your target audience, this audit will provide you insights of what to improve to reach success.

What's included

  • Brand Identity & Brand System Assessment

What it is: A foundational audit of your brand’s core identity elements and it's system - including logos, color palette, typography, visual assets, tone and voice, and key messaging, and offline materials. What I’ll do: I’ll evaluate what brand assets you currently have, identify what’s missing, and assess how consistently and correctly they’re being applied across your channels. This includes reviewing internal documents, external-facing content, digital platforms, and offline materials. What I look for: Do you have a documented brand identity and guidelines? Is your logo being used consistently across touchpoints? Are your visuals aligned with your positioning and audience? Is your tone and voice clear and applied appropriately? Are there inconsistencies that may confuse your audience or dilute your message? Why it matters: Inconsistent branding undermines trust. This assessment ensures your brand feels cohesive, professional, and intentional - the foundation for all future marketing, communications, and growth. What you receive: Brand identity audit report + annotated examples + core recommendations

  • Brand Consistency & Experience Audit

What it is: An evaluation of the full brand experience across your customer journey - from first impression to ongoing engagement. What I’ll do: I’ll map and assess how your brand is being experienced across platforms -website, email, social media, community, and customer service - for tone, visuals, and user flow consistency. What I look for: Are users getting a seamless, consistent experience? Are touchpoints aligned in voice, design, and messaging? Are there any jarring UX or communication gaps? Do brand values translate across channels? Why it matters: Consistency creates credibility. When your brand feels polished across all experiences, users feel trust, which leads to stronger engagement and advocacy. Deliverables include: Cross-channel experience audit Screenshots + examples of inconsistencies UX and tone-of-voice suggestions Quick improvements for alignment across platforms

  • Audience & Stakeholder Perception Insights

What it is: A synthesis of how your brand is actually perceived by your customers, community, and internal team - versus how you want to be seen. What I’ll do: I’ll gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative feedback from relevant audiences via surveys, interviews, or reviews. Then I’ll map it against your brand goals. What I look for: How does your audience describe your brand? Do internal teams and customers share the same perception? Are there misalignments between vision and reality? What language do your users naturally use? Why it matters: Brand perception is your brand. This insight helps close the gap between intention and impact, enabling more effective communication and stronger loyalty. Deliverables include: A summarized perception insights report Key perception gaps and alignment issues Target audience language mapping Recommendations for tone and message refinement

  • Competitor & Market Landscape Analysis

What it is: A strategic comparison between your brand and key competitors to highlight positioning gaps, market opportunities, and industry standards. What I’ll do: I’ll analyze your top competitors’ messaging, visual branding, tone, and positioning to identify how your brand stacks up - and where it can stand out. What I look for: What are your competitors saying and how? How does your brand positioning differ? Are there trends or white space opportunities? Where can your brand lead, not follow? Why it matters: You don’t operate in a vacuum. Knowing your competitive landscape allows you to differentiate with intention - instead of blending into a noisy market. Deliverables include: Competitor comparison matrix Positioning gap analysis Industry trend highlights Recommendations for market differentiation

  • Messaging & Brand Story Optimization

What it is: A refinement of your brand’s messaging and story to ensure clarity, consistency, and emotional resonance. What I’ll do: I’ll evaluate your existing messaging - from taglines to web copy - and recommend how to optimize your narrative to better reflect your mission, values, and audience needs. What I look for: Does your value proposition feel clear and unique? Is your brand story consistent and engaging? Are your messages audience-centric? Is your tone of voice cohesive across materials? Why it matters: Your messaging is your first impression. When it’s aligned and compelling, it drives deeper emotional connections and conversions. Deliverables include: Strategic recommendations to reshape your value proposition and key messaging A breakdown of how to rework copy across key brand touchpoints (e.g. homepage, tagline) Feedback and notes for improving tone of voice for better alignment with your audience and brand identity

  • Strategic Brand Alignment Plan

What it is: A high-level action plan built from audit findings to help you strengthen your brand and reach your long-term goals. What I’ll do: I’ll consolidate all insights and create an action-points list that prioritizes improvements across identity, messaging, experience, and positioning. What I look for: What are the highest-impact opportunities for improvement? Where can you gain the most traction quickly? Which areas need strategic refinement over time? Why it matters: Insights are only valuable when they drive action. This plan gives you a clear direction forward, so you can align every part of your brand with intent. Deliverables include: Strategic summary of audit findings Action-points for brand improvement Prioritized next steps with suggested tools Optional consulting support if needed
