DaycareOS is designed to work alongside Procare, Brightwheel, and other childcare programs, not replace them. It handles daily logs, meal tracking, and exports- areas where real-time classroom tools are limited.
Without Google Sheets connected, data is saved locally in your browser. With Google Sheets connected (10-minute setup), every entry saves permanently to your spreadsheet in real time. We recommend setting up the Sheets connection before going live. Set-up instructions are included in your package.
Yes. Once hosted on a free or paid URL (instructions included), every teacher, director, and admin accesses the same dashboard from any device simultaneously. Entries from one teacher show up on the director's view instantly.
The export is formatted as a clean CSV with child name, classroom, attendance days, and meal counts - the standard columns most state programs require. The Done For You package includes help customizing the export format to match your state's exact template.
Yes. The file includes clearly labeled sections at the top where you update classroom names, teacher names, and enrolled children. Takes about 5 minutes and requires only basic text editing.
