At the end of every edit, I provide a comprehensive edit letter touching on topics like pacing, flow, character arcs, plot structure, story beats, and more. This letter is designed to have all the important feedback from the edit in one place.
Manuscript Tracker
Developmental edits include a spreadsheet tracker of your manuscript including chapter summaries, notes, and breakdowns. There are also trackers for character mentions and descriptions, as well as setting mentions and descriptions. These trackers can be used to support your edit by ensuring consistency throughout the document. It can also be a reference for future projects.
Edited Document
Most importantly, I will return your edited manuscript to you as a Word document with suggestions for review. I make all suggestions through comments and Track Changes where necessary.
