Summary

Emjay offers custom illustrations and branding solutions that bring warmth and personality to projects, enhancing engagement and memorability through hand-crafted visuals.

Process

First, I will interview the client to get a sense of the project and gather as much information as I can about the style, tone, message, and content of your branding project.

After we discuss the parameters of the project, I will create a contract so we have specific goals and timelines in place.

Then I will create some rough sketches that loosely illustrate a direction to follow in my next sketch iteration.

After the client chooses one of the sketch directions, I will elaborate on the sketch and create a more refined image for review.

After 2 to 3 more editing rounds, we have a finished a unique, one-of-a-kind branding project with warmth and personality.

Key Art
A main image to represent your company, event, product, television show, etc., that serves as the touchstone of your branding project.

Creating cohesive packaging, pulling elements from the key art design and elaborating on them to craft custom on-brand packaging for your product.

Using the key art to translate the brand onto physical products for purchase, like t-shirts, tote bags, towels, etc.
Motion Graphics
An illustrated version of the key art to promote your project in a dynamic, interactive way.
Spot Illustrations
Small illustrations that can be added to any content to create more interest in the brand.
Pattern Design
Using elements from the key art and spot illustrations to create a repeating pattern that can be used on packaging, merch, website design, etc.
Web Design
Translating the key art and branding elements into a website or landing page.
