Design phases:

We'll meet and have a chat about your ideas for your children's book and what you've already got prepared (i.e illustrations, copy, copyrights and ISBNs). We will go over your story and your vision for how your audience should feel while reading your book. We can discuss mood, tone of voice, and your creative concept so that I can develop guidelines for the editorial design-- i.e what people often call the, "look and feel".

 Work may include:

• Communications & project management (correspondence, emailing, meetings) 
• File organization & admin 
• Research - market research, publishing platform requirements
• Layout (image & text placement) on front & back cover
• Layout (image & text placement) of interior pages
• Obtaining proofs for publishing 
• Revision 1 
• Revision 2 
• Pre-publishing proofs 
• File packaging hand-off
