Once the initial branding portion of the project is complete, we begin the design phase for the website. We organize the logic for the website based on client and user goals, identifying necessary components (number of Static Pages, CMS Collections, Template Pages, components, navigation, CTAs, etc.)
📖 Content Development
As needed, website copy is developed and refined; assets such as graphics and photography are collected and optimized
🌈 Figma Design
High-fidelity color mockups are created for key pages to establish the design prior to development
📋 Webflow Project Setup
Setup project in client workspace with framework and style guide (Finsweet Client-First). Note: Client may host in their own Webflow workspace sharing Guest access or host within John Kuehn Design
💻 Webflow Build
Development of all required pages and components in Webflow, built with best-practices, accessibility and responsiveness in mind →→→ Run checklist for required features/data across pages and components: SEO, meta data, links, alt tags, aria labels, etc.
🚀 QA & Launch
Test functionality and responsiveness across modern browsers and devices →→→ Review for design fidelity and address any client feedback →→→ Launch

We'll kickoff the project with a call to review the development process and review goals and strategy.
We work closely with stakeholders at the onset of a project to "reveal" a strategic design that reflects your existing brand and delivers the functionality necessary for your website. Revisions and feedback guide the process to arrive at a solution that will meet all your project goals. If the client should decide to not go forward with a design, or the goals of the project change, the project can be paused or terminated and the client will be responsible for the initial deposit as well as the design and development work completed. Due to experience and clear communication, this is an outcome that hasn't occurred to date. 🤓
No. Webflow hosting, and any necessary third-party expenses are the responsibility of the client and not included in the cost of design or development. Clients may host their website in their own Webflow workspace or arrange for hosting by John Kuehn Design in our workspace for an additional yearly fee.
