About this service

Summary

This service uses a Devops accelerator called SweetOps. The entire deploy design uses an advanced template language called Atmos which allows complicated deployment management with only a few workflows.
This style of management is based heavily on terraform and containers (docker, ECS, EKS) but can also handle any part that is in the terraform module marketplace. This project can also handle classic deployments using EC2 and Ansible if needed.
Logging and metrics can be any set that you want (Splunk, Datadog, Wavefront, etc). I recommend Github / Github actions but I can work with any system you prefer.

What's included

  • Build baseline services

    * Create all AWS accounts needed per design spec, plus IAM users or (preferably) Okta/SSO if required. This includes setting up keys and access rights. * Create all VPCs per design. This includes a redundancy and security plan.

  • Build developer pipeline

    * Based on the desired workflow, setup developer services (EC2, ECS, EKS, etc) and backend services (ex RDS) * Create CI pipelines (Github Actions, jenkins)

  • Build Production environment

    * Build all production services

  • Build alerts, metrics, logging infrastructure

    * Deploy everything to monitor the app from a devops perspective

  • Day of launch

    * Create documentation for launch and insure a smooth launch day
