I will restrict research to authoritative, reliable sites. Then, I will use my knowledge of writing computer programming instructions and my training in structuring questions for personality inventories, career assessment tests, and customer surveys to create prompts that guide AI's writing output. The writing is, in effect, edited as it is produced.

Guiding the research to reputable sites and limiting AI to using only information from those sites, eliminates the possibility of erroneous information. Carefully structured prompts improve the quality of AI's output, including adding an emotional tone.

I will then use my 15 years of writing experience to refine AI's output further.

As a final step, I will run the written piece through AI detection software and edit until it registers as written by a human.

A Buyer Beware Disclaimer:

In spite of my efforts to produce hybrid output that reads as if it was written by a human, I cannot guarantee that Google and other search engines won't find a way in the future to improve recognition of AI input. In that case, search engines may penalize sites using hybrid output.

Watermarking is one tool that makes AI writing more easily detectable. OpenAI, the creator of ChatGPT, is devising a key that uses a pseudo-random sequence to vary the probability of the next word that will be used by the AI software. Other AI developers are likely to create their own keys. When these keys are supplied to search engines, search engines will be able to match the watermark of each AI tool using its probability variance.

Light editing isn't likely to remove the watermark. Successfully removing it requires not only removing the right words but also removing enough of them that a match isn't made. It's possible, but statistically, it's highly improbable.

The only sure way to avoid ever being penalized for using AI content is not to use it. However, Google states that its goal is to promote sites with information that offers value to readers. So, if the fees for human-written content aren't affordable for you, but you want higher-quality content than AI provides on its own, human-hybrid AI content offers a lower-cost option.
