Hello! My name is Melody. I am offering college application consulting lessons in order to help your student get into their dream college.

I’ve gone through the application system myself in 2021 and realized that every decision I made in high school truly does impact how my future looks. Countless hours of hard work and detailed planning allowed me to reach my goals, gaining admissions into Rice University, the #17 ranked university in America. Additional facts about me: I am the high school valedictorian, received over 7 state awards, and have been published in various articles.



During my consulting sessions, I will help review a 4 year high school plan (selecting courses, sharing strategies for higher GPAs), establish personal and academic goals (in order to understand what path the student wants to take in the future), create a personalized college list (reach, target, and safety schools), and share advice for writing essays. Alongside ALL of these amazing opportunities, I can advise students to build consistent study habits– quickly catching up, keeping up, and getting ahead in school.



We will meet online via Zoom. Sessions are fun, effective, and interactive! I will be providing various resources (i.e. 4 year plan templates, goals templates, etc.) and will also work with the student to create resources for them (i.e. college list, etc.).

For BEST results, consulting sessions should begin before 9th grade (before selecting freshman year courses– this will allow me to advise what the best courses are to take in order to receive higher grades/ranking).

VERY EFFECTIVE results can be reached if sessions are scheduled like this:

9th & 10th grade: Before 1st semester (August), before 2nd semester (January), after 2nd semester (June)

11th grade: Before 1st semester (August), mid-semester (October), before 2nd semester (January), mid-semester (March), after 2nd semester (June)

12th grade: Before 1st semester (August), mid-semester (October/November), before 2nd semester (December)



Don’t worry! You can start the consulting sessions at any time! The above is just a recommended sample of how many times students in each grade should take a consulting session with me in order to obtain effective results.

It is highly recommended to call for 2 hours per session. That way, more in-depth information can be delivered and there will be no rush.
