Summary

I am a brand strategist with 20 years of experience in Logo Design & Branding. I've had the pleasure to create for Andersen Windows, Be The Match, Dell Computers, Minnesota Orchestra, Polaroid, Room & Board, and more. I’ve also spent 10 years teaching at the Minneapolis College of Art & Design (MCAD). I can work with any industry: Restaurants/Hospitality, Retail/Products, Music/Entertainment, Hemp/Cannabis, Real Estate, and more.

Process

1. Discovery & Alignment We’ll start with an in-depth call to explore your brand’s mission, vision, values, and aesthetic inspirations. This session will help us align on the direction and set a strong foundation for your new identity.
2. Concept Development I’ll create and share a curated selection of branding concepts, including logo designs, color palettes, and typography options. You’ll have the chance to select a favorite, mix-and-match elements, or provide feedback to ensure the design reflects your brand’s essence.
3. Refinement & Feedback Using your input, I’ll refine the chosen direction and craft a draft of your comprehensive brand guidelines. You’ll have up to two rounds of revisions to adjust and fine-tune every detail until you’re completely satisfied.
4. Finalization & Delivery Once your brand identity is perfected, I’ll deliver all final assets through a streamlined, organized platform like Playbook. This will include logo files, color codes, typography details, and your complete brand guidelines for easy reference and implementation.

    Primary Logo: The main visual identifier for your brand, designed for versatile application across various mediums. Secondary Logo (if necessary): A complementary version of the primary logo, ideal for situations where the main logo isn’t optimal. Often a simplified or rearranged design. Logo Mark/Icon: A minimalistic emblem or symbol representing your brand, perfect for small spaces like social media profiles.

  • Color Palette

    A cohesive set of primary and secondary colors to define your brand’s visual identity. Includes detailed color codes in RGB and CMYK formats for accurate and consistent use across print and digital platforms.

  • Typography

    A curated selection of primary and secondary typefaces that enhance your brand’s aesthetic. Includes guidelines for font usage in headers, body text, and accents to ensure consistency in your communications.

  • Brand Guidelines

    A comprehensive guide detailing the proper application of your brand elements. Includes: Instructions on logo placement and sizing. Guidelines for color usage and combinations. Typography hierarchy and font usage. Do’s and don’ts for maintaining brand integrity.

  • Deliverables

    You will receive all necessary files to ensure seamless implementation of your brand, including: Logo files in multiple formats (EPS, PDF, PNG, JPG) suitable for both print and digital use. Complete color palette swatches for easy integration. Font files or download links (if using open-source fonts). A PDF version of your brand guidelines for reference and sharing. Mockup files for future reference or customization.
