About this service
Summary
So why outsource your blog creation to me?
Here are several reasons that I trust you will find compelling:
a. Written from scratch
Each blog post I write for your firm features original research that I conduct. This includes interviews that I conduct with your marketing and sales teams and SMEs.
b. Written for search
My goal with each blog post is to improve your ranking in search engine results. This starts with understanding the keywords you need to rank for and then optimizing your posts accordingly.
c. Written to convert
I give every post on your blog a conversion goal, whether that’s downloading a white paper, clicking a link, contacting you or something else.
d. Written for a stage in your buyer's journey
Is your blog post aimed at buyers at the Awareness stage of their buyer journey? The Consideration stage? Or the Decision stage? I find out. And write accordingly.
e.Written for your buyer personas
Is your reader a technical buyer or a business buyer? I find out, and write your blog posts so that they answer the questions that your buyer personas are asking before buying.
f. Written to be re-purposed into valuable assets
You can turn five blog posts into a guide. Ten posts into a white paper. Thirty posts into an ebook. I write your posts with the goal of collating them into content assets.
g.Written to build your list
One of the most valuable assets in B2B marketing is an opt-in email list that you own. My weekly blog posts are perfect for re-purposing into weekly eNewsletter articles.
h.Written to move the needle
I write your blog posts with the goal of boosting your Traffic Volume (website visitors), Engagement Rates (clickthroughs, shares, comments) and Conversion Rates.
Process
My writing process incorporates a unique method for explaining the point to be made in a clear and easily digestible. In reality, it involves a lot of different writing and copywriting techniques – what you see here is a quick summary.
1. Content Brief
Have you ever come up with an idea for a blog post, presented the idea to a writer, and then the writer returns with a blog post that was completely different than what you had intended it to be?
Common mistakes in those drafts could be
The specifics and the “knowledge level” of the piece were totally off.
It's either the pieces that you are getting were way too beginner-level or simply not talking about the issues that were important to the customer.
In addition, there were other “writing” issues in drafts that kept coming up:
The writer didn’t focus on the right originality nuggets of the story
The flow was off. This is a pure writing thing, where the flow of arguments sometimes just doesn’t make sense and needs to be improved.
The problem with correcting all of these mistakes at the draft stage was that it required heavy rewrites, and that is frustrating for everyone. You and the stakeholders or the editor are frustrated that the draft is nowhere close to where they want.
The writer is frustrated that they spent all this time on a draft, and now they have to do it again.
Enter the content brief.
It is meant to be a more efficient way of making sure all stakeholders are aligned on what the piece is going to be before it’s drafted.

2. Interview & Research
We’ll want to interview your internal experts in addition to my own research.I'll also proactively seek interviews and quotes from non-competitive industry experts to bolster trust and build brand awareness.
3. Drafting
I deliver my initial drafts to you, giving your team a chance to look over everything for further edits. While I do offer unlimited revisions, normally my drafts get approved within the 1st or 2nd draft.
4. Publish & Track Performance
After getting the nod of approval for my drafts this is where I will be publishing the blog to the web. Once published I will be constantly monitoring the content published and tweak it based on the analytics.
FAQs
Can't you work without interviewing our experts? They tend to be busy.
To make the blog you're creating to hit the mark you need unique angles and expertise that can only be provided by an expert. To minimize the time spent on the interview, I will do the research beforehand interviewing internal experts to ensure that I only ask questions that readers are genuinely curious about, bridge the gap in the answers provided in the search and unearth unique yet authority-building narratives.
Are you open to commit to a monthly retainer?
Sure. I have an ongoing monthly blog posts creation on retainer here: https://contra.com/s/MeWFYXrA-blogger-on-retainer. Perfect if you're planning to publish blog posts consistently.
