Storyboards- images that shows whats going to happen in the animation(client can make changes easily in this phase)

Rough Pass- the rough outline of the animation is in this pass. timing is determined here and other creative decisions.

Refinement pass- the animation is refined with more frames and cleaned up making the animation more fluid.

Final Animation Pass- coloring and rendering happens here along with post-production.
