Process

I'll start with a problem and goal statement to make sure we are on the same page.
I will then start user research using empathy maps to understand the users I'm designing for and their needs. With my research, I will identify the main pain points, and create personas which will represents your target users. I will create a User Journey Map, mapping the user journey to help figure out where there are pain points and improve the user or customer experience.
From there, I will follow a user flow outline to start my designs, starting with paper wireframes to sketch out different ideas.
After finalizing my paper wireframes, I will then put together the best features and turn them into a digital wireframes for a cleaner more put together wireframes to give you more of an idea of what to expect. This will also include a low-fidelity prototype to show you how a user would go through the app/website.
With my low-fidelity prototype, I will conduct a usability study to identify any usability problems, collect qualitative and quantitative data and determine the participant's satisfaction with the product.
From there I will start the mockups. I will put together a font and color pallet for approval.
After the mockups are finished, I will start a second usability study including a high-fidelity prototype.
Through this whole process I will continue to have open communication with you to make sure everything is going in the right direction and for you to be able to be present for the whole process.
