What's included

• A handy Slack workspace for communication

  We'll be communicating mainly via Slack. And/or via Contra itself and the Figma/Notion sharing and communication features. I can adapt to your own tools, though, but I do prefer these services (including, necessarily, Figma and Notion, since these are the tools we'll be spending most of our time coming back to and working on). I believe having a centralized tool for communication is a helpful thing to stay in touch (with each other and with the project we're working on). Email is a good and useful thing (and something we'll often fall back on) but specialized tools like Slack can serve an important role in our work, especially since we'll be working remotely. If you already have a Slack workspace you're using I'll use that, if you don't, we'll be creating a free one from scratch (and I'll transfer ownership of it to you).

• A useful Notion page for documentation

  I'll neatly organize and deliver/share a Notion page (possibly with embedded pages as well) for product research and ideation/inspiration documentation purposes. The page will contain everything used in the preliminary stages of the UX/product design process. How much research/planning I will document depends on your scope and what exactly you want me to spend my time on. Advice: by failing to prepare we're preparing to fail. A good amount of preliminary/ongoing well-documented research and planning serves a good deal, especially as the project advances. Also, research, ideation, design and testing are iterative processes that we'll be coming back to at various times in our product design journey, and so having all of this neatly arranged in a centralized place is quite handy, and that "place" shall be Notion.

• A well-organized Figma file for design

  I'll deliver a Figma file(s) with the UX/UI design of the mobile app we'll be working on (ideally though, we'll be sharing the file(s) through our Figma team accounts, so it's easier to collaborate live). The number of mockups designed and whether the design includes live prototypes and even a comprehensive design system with its set of style guides and components depends on your scope and what you want me to spend my time working on.
