Cross-platform apps built for the network conditions your users actually have. I specialize in offline-first architecture: local persistence, background sync, conflict handling, and draft flows hardened so nobody loses work when the connection drops.
Recent work: an offline-first field audit app (Legend State + MMKV, background sync) that lets auditors start, pause, and resume audits in low-connectivity environments, hardened across multiple rounds of real field testing. Also real-time iOS work integrating embedded hardware streams with Apple's Vision framework, where I cut app size 30% and improved streaming performance 25%.
What I build
One React Native and Expo codebase shipping to both iOS and Android
An offline-first data layer: local storage, background sync, and conflict resolution
Draft and resume flows that survive app kills, dead zones, and duplicate submissions
Typed API integration against a FastAPI or Node backend, which I can build too
Export flows (CSV, XLSX, PDF), multi-role access control, accessibility, and i18n set up from the start
How I work
I assume the network will fail and design the data layer around that first, rather than bolting offline support on later
Performance is measured, not guessed: list virtualization, render profiling, bundle size
EAS builds and store submission handled, so you get an app in TestFlight, not just a repo
Pricing
Hourly from $75/hr
Fixed-scope builds from $5,000, quoted after a scoping call
Free 20-minute call to size the problem before anyone commits
Starting at$75 /hr
