Summary

I'll work with you to determine your brand and the stories you want to tell through video via an intake/brainstorming meeting.
I'll take ideas from that meeting and add on to them to create a list of 30 video concepts that showcase you and your brand.
Each concept will come with detailed next steps in the process so you can take those concepts to a video team or even better come back to me and I'll turn those concepts into videos for you!

Process

Intake Meeting:
This is a 30-minute meeting for us to meet and discuss your brand and the stories you want to tell. We'll talk through ideas you already have and brainstorm some new ideas. I'll take notes throughout the session to use throughout the rest of the process.
Brainstorming / Idea Session:
I'll take the notes from the Intake Meeting and expand on the ideas, listing out the next steps for each.
Final Delivery:
I will deliver the list of ideas to you via a PDF document (I can also deliver them via a Spreadsheet document)

FAQs

  • Why are many of the Next Steps the same?

    You'll find that many of the next steps look the same because it's all a part of streamlining the process for yourself. Video production already has a streamlined process and the easier you can make it on yourself, the better you'll get at putting out more content. There will be the occasional concept that deviates from the norm whether it has animation or VFX involved or is just a bit more complex.

  • Some of these ideas don't work for me. Why not?

    Not every idea will be a winner! The process of concept development is a numbers game. In my own experience, I've found that only a portion of the video ideas I've come up with actually make it to an end product. Out of the thousands of concepts I've come up with for clients and personal projects, I've ended up delivering less than a third of the concepts. All of this is not to say there isn't thought behind each of the video concepts in the list, it just means that you may not end up creating all of them.

  • How long will it take to get the list back?

    On average, it will take me 1 day or less to get the list back to you. If there are any schedule issues on my end, I'll be upfront with you about it during the intake meeting.
