• Client Briefing

  Conduct a briefing to understand the brand, values, target audience, and the message the logotype needs to convey. Analyze any existing branding materials to ensure the new design aligns with or improves upon the current brand identity.

• Research

  Study the market and competitors to identify design standards and opportunities. Dig through my endless books and reference materials to find inspiration coming from the top designers and artists of decades past.

• Concept Development

  Create a quick mood board of ideas and concepts based on the client’s brief and research findings. Draw rough sketches of potential logotype designs to explore various shapes, styles, and concepts.

• Design Development

  Develop digital drafts of the most promising sketches using design software. Experiment with typography, color schemes, and layouts. Refine the digital drafts based on client feedback.

• Review and Finalization

  Present several refined logotype options including color variations. Gather feedback from the client and make necessary revisions to address their preferences. Once the design is approved, finalize it by ensuring all elements are polished and consistent.

• Delivery

  Deliver the final logotype in various formats, Illustrator vector files, PNG, JPG. If applicable, create a basic style guide outlining the proper usage of the logotype, including color codes, typography, and spacing guidelines.
