No :) All changes will be tested on staging first.
WordPress allows the largest possibilities for optimization since it's an open source platform. I do work with other platforms as well, but these are partially closed platforms and we need to keep our expectations reasonable there.
Impossible to know in advance. It can take a few hours OR a week of every day work. I will not change the price if website takes unexpectedly long. I will keep you updated on every stage of the project.
