I will deliver a flexible, logical and visually shining design system that covers your application from beginning to end. Components and design tokens will be easy to find and use and you'll be able to efficiently extend and build new parts to the app with minimal effort.
The scope differs depending on whether you already have an app or are building something brand new, if you have clear branding ready or not, what you're intention with the design system is etc. Together we'll find a good scope for the design system!
Figma and sketch allows your developers to easily recreate the components into code. Optionally I can do this for you as a React.js codebase which you can use to quickly get up to speed.
Throughout the process of building the design system we'll keep in close touch and you'll have full transparency into the work for quick and spontaneous reviews as well as set review meetings.
What's included
Design system
Full fledged design system either based on your current app or a brand new one. It will have all the bells and whistles required to enable you to efficiently using it:
- Style guide with all elements available as design tokens
- Grid system
- Components complete with variants for different states
- Any existing mockups re-built with the design system
- Examples of how to best use the components
- Example clickable prototypes
- 'How to use this design system'-screen
I will also provide a live walkthrough and showcase how to use it and answer any questions you might have.
Delivered in Figma or Sketch
Corresponding React.js components (optional)
If you have the need, I will deliver all components from the design system as react components, structured in the same way as the design system. This enables you to quickly get up to speed with development or swiftly replace existing parts.
All components have documentation and links to the corresponding design system components in Figma.
Delivered as javascript code in Github.
