Our Collaborative Design Journey:
Creating your brand identity is a collaborative team effort! I believe the best results come when we work closely together. Here’s a look at how we'll bring your brand vision to life, step-by-step:
Let's Talk Strategy & Vision:
We kick things off with a friendly chat (and maybe a helpful questionnaire beforehand) to dive deep into your business. We'll explore your goals, who you want to reach, what makes you unique, and your vision for the future. Getting this foundation right together is key!
2. Exploring the Vibe (Mood Boards):
Based on our conversation, I'll gather inspiration and create visual 'mood boards'. Think of these as shared scrapbooks to help us agree on the overall look, feel, and aesthetic direction before any actual design starts. We'll review these together to make sure we're excited and on the same page.
3. Bringing Ideas to Life (Concept Creation):
Now for the fun part! I’ll translate our agreed direction into a few distinct and thoughtful logo concepts. These initial designs are starting points, exploring different creative ways to capture your brand's personality.
4. Sharing & Refining Together (Feedback Session):
We'll connect again so I can walk you through the concepts and the thinking behind them. This is a crucial collaboration point! Your feedback and gut feelings help us choose the strongest direction and identify what we need to refine.
5. Polishing the Gem (Iteration & Development):
Based on your favourite direction and feedback, we'll work together to perfect it. This involves fine-tuning the details, exploring colour possibilities, and selecting typography until it feels absolutely right. We'll typically go through a couple of focused rounds here to nail it.
6. Building Your Brand Toolkit:
Once we've finalized the star of the show (your primary logo!), I’ll build out the supporting cast – creating versatile logo variations for different uses, defining your unique colour palette, and setting up your typography system.
7. Creating Your Guide & Files:
To ensure your brand looks consistently awesome everywhere, I’ll create a clear, easy-to-use Brand Guidelines document. Alongside this, I'll meticulously prepare and organize all the final logo and brand files you’ll need for web, print, and beyond.
8. The Grand Handover!
It's delivery time! You'll receive your complete, organized brand identity package – the guidelines, all the file formats, and everything we've created together. I'll make sure you understand everything and, of course, I'm here to answer any questions as you start using your amazing new brand!

    Primarily, your time and insights during the initial Discovery phase (filling out the brief, participating in the strategy call). Clear, consolidated, and timely feedback during the design stages is also essential for keeping the project on track.

  • How long does the entire brand identity process usually take?

    A full brand identity project typically takes around 4-8 weeks from our initial strategy call to final file delivery. This allows for thorough research, creative exploration, and collaborative refinement.

  • How many revisions are included?

    My process typically includes 2-3 rounds of meaningful revisions focused on refining a chosen concept direction. The goal is collaborative refinement rather than endless iterations, ensuring we stay focused and efficient.

  • Who owns the copyright to the final logo and brand identity?

    Upon final payment and project completion, you, the client, receive full ownership and copyright of the final, approved logo design and brand identity elements. I retain the right to showcase the work in my portfolio.

  • What file formats will I receive?

    You'll receive a comprehensive package including vector files (AI, EPS, SVG - infinitely scalable), raster files for web and general use (PNG with transparent backgrounds, JPG), and a detailed PDF Brand Guidelines document. Files are provided in full-color, black, and white versions.

  • What if I need additional design work later, like a website or marketing materials?

    Absolutely! While this service focuses on the core brand identity, I have extensive experience in extending branding across various touchpoints, including web design, print collateral, and social media assets. We can discuss these as separate follow-on projects.
