Asana is very flexible. In contrast to other systems, you won't have to reinvent your business processes around what the software can do. Instead, I can make Asana do what you need it to do, to fit the way you prefer to do business. This requires integration through the API which I would accomplish through custom-written software in Python or other programming language of your choosing.

Things I might be able to do for you: (+) Represent your sales funnel in Asana, opening a task when a salesperson sends an outgoing e-mail, then advance the tasks through pipelines (e.g. cold email sent, reply received, appointment set, customer onboarded, etc.) (+) Parse log files and open a task for engineering attention when certain things happen. Flag the task for management attention, when it's not closed by the engineer within X days. ...these are just some examples.
