Buttons, loaders, toggles, hero animations and app states — built as real-time components your developers control from code, not video files they have to work around.
WHAT THIS IS Production UI animation built natively in Rive. Every element ships as a real component with a state machine, named inputs, and data binding — so your app drives the animation, not the other way around.
THE PROBLEM THIS SOLVES Lottie plays a clip. It can't react to a loading value, a hover state, a theme switch, or an error. So teams end up with three workarounds: a video that weighs 4MB, a Lottie that only loops, or a developer hand-coding CSS states that never quite match the design. Rive removes all three. One .riv file, driven by real app state.
WHAT YOU GET — State machine per component, with clearly named inputs (isHovered, isLoading, progress, hasError, isDark) — Data binding via ViewModel: colors, scale, progress, text and numeric values updated at runtime from your code — Nested artboards, so one component reuses another instead of duplicating it — Responsive layouts that hold up from mobile to desktop — .riv file + integration snippet for your stack — One-page technical handoff doc your developer can follow — Full commercial rights
WHAT I TYPICALLY BUILD AI thinking / streaming indicators · progress and loaders driven by a real progress value · animated toggles and switches · CTA micro-interactions · onboarding step transitions · empty states · theme switch (light/dark) through a single ViewModel property · animated icon sets with hover / active / disabled states · hero animations with cursor parallax · animated counters and data-driven charts.
TIERS
Single Interaction — $1,500 · 5–7 days One hero animation or one interactive component, built properly. Full state machine, named inputs, .riv + integration snippet, 2 revisions.
UI Motion Set — $3,200 · 2–3 weeks 6–8 connected components sharing one ViewModel, so your whole set retheme from a single property. Nested artboards, responsive layouts, handoff doc, 3 revisions.
Product Motion System — $6,000+ · 4–5 weeks 12–20 components, multi-layer state machines, light/dark through data binding, responsive layouts, editable source .rev, a live demo page your team can click through, developer integration call, and 30 days of post-delivery support.
INTEGRATION React · React Native · Next.js · Vue · Flutter · Framer · plain JS. Snippet included for whichever you use. If your developer has questions after handoff, they can ask me directly.
PROCESS
Call — your product, the states that matter, your stack
Motion direction approved as static frames before any rigging
Build — state machines wired to your real inputs
Handoff — .riv, docs, snippet, integration support
NOT INCLUDED Frame-by-frame character animation (that's a separate service) · 3D · explainer video · full UI design from scratch — I animate your design system, I don't replace it.
