About this service

Summary

I start every design project with a creative deep dive - getting to know your brand’s story, making research, and brainstorming ideas. We explore a variety of concepts in a collaborative setting, then narrow down the concepts and refine the chosen direction until your visual identity feels authentic and cohesive.
This process is all about balancing strategy with creativity to create a visual identity that not only looks great but also tells your brand’s story. Think of it as a fun, collaborative journey to bring your brand’s personality to life.
I consider communication very important, so we will be in touch all through the process. This ensures that the objectives of the project remain in view and guarantees you’re completely satisfied with the final design.

Process

Startup
A contract will be shared to represent the agreement of terms between both parties before the project begins. An up-front payment of 50% is required before the project begins, as will also be stated in the contract.
The Discovery
A brief session between us where I learn more about your brand story and where your passion lies in it.
You express your view about the brand, the origin, your goals, competition and more.
This helps to clarify your expectations and objectives of the resulting design.
We discuss timelines and other details to make sure the project goes as smooth as possible.
Brand Strategy
I’ll kick things off by crafting a brand strategy document that outlines your brand’s vision, mission, personality, target audience, and competition research.
This roadmap details the tone, messaging, and overall aesthetic direction we’ll pursue, ensuring that every design element aligns with your goals.
It’s a strategic foundation that informs our creative decisions and sets the stage for a unified brand identity.
Visual Moodboard
You will get two curated moodboards based on these as options for the creative direction of the identity design. The moodboard is a fun, collage-like presentation that captures the essence of your brand, helping you see the direction before we dive into the actual design work.
You are required to choose one moodboard so I can start developing the design.
Selecting a moodboard is important, because it ensures all parties are aligned on the vision of the final design. It acts as a creative compass, visually communicating the look and feel we’re aiming for.
Logo Design
I will provide two logo concepts developed through brainstorming and creative sketches. These initial drafts are designed to explore different styles and ideas, giving you options to consider.
You will review the concepts and feedback.
You are to choose one logo suite so we can proceed.
Two revisions are allowed at this stage.
Logo and Visual Assets
Next, I’ll refine the logo if needed and create supporting design assets that reinforce your brand’s identity.
This includes developing key visual elements that work in harmony - think icons, patterns, or custom illustrations. Every asset is designed to complement your overall brand image, ensuring a cohesive and versatile identity that looks great across all channels.
Two revisions are allowed at this stage.
Mockups
To make sure you can see your brand identity in action, I’ll provide relevant mockups that showcase your new design on various touchpoints. These might include website headers, social media profiles, business stationery, and more. The mockups help you envision how your brand will appear in real-world scenarios, offering a practical preview before final delivery.
Brand Guidelines
Finally, you’ll receive a concise yet comprehensive brand guidelines document. This guide covers your color palette, typography, logo usage rules, and any other key design elements, ensuring consistency across all your brand materials. It is your go-to manual for maintaining your brand’s look and feel, no matter where it’s applied.
Delivery
Once the design is finalized, all designs will be delivered in high-quality, versatile file formats suitable for both digital and print applications. You’ll get a neatly packaged set of files - ready for everything from online platforms to physical marketing materials - so you’re all set to roll out your refreshed brand identity.

Teaming up with Ghalib on branding projects is always a smooth ride. He brings a sharp eye for detail, a clean aesthetic, and solid thinking behind every visual decision. We bounce ideas easily, and he’s great at turning abstract ideas into visuals that hit the mark. I’d recommend him in a heartbeat for any brand work — he’s one of the few designers I trust to consistently deliver.
