Kickoff & Info Gathering: I'll reach out to get key details - your video topic, title, channel link, and any images, graphics, or brand assets you'd like me to use. The project timeline begins once I've received everything needed to start.

Style & Strategy Review: I'll take a quick dive into your channel and visual identity to ensure every thumbnail feels consistent, intentional, and tailored to your audience

Thumbnail Design (2-3 Business Days): I'll create three unique scroll-stopping thumbnails designed in Canva and optimized for YouTube's Test & Compare tool. Delays in receiving the required information may shift this timeframe.

Client Review (Respond within 2 Days): You'll receive all three designs to review and provide any feedback or notes for revision. To keep your project on track, I ask that revisions be requested within 2 business days of delivery.

Revisions & Final Polish (1-2 Business Days): I'll make any requested updates (one round included) and send you final versions in JPG or PNG format, plus an optional Canva link if you'd like access.

Why three thumbnails instead of just one?
YouTube's built-in Test & Compare tool now lets you test up to three thumbnails per video, which is a powerful way to see what actually performs best. I design all three with different layouts, tones, or emotional cues, so you can run smart A/B/C tests and choose what resonates with your audience. It's about working with the algorithm, not guessing what will click.
What do you need from me to get started?
I'll need your video title (a working title is fine) and topic, your channel link, and any brand assets (like a logo, font, or color palette). If there's a person featured in the video, feel free to send a headshot or frame grab you'd like me to use. I'll reach out after booking with a short checklist.
What if I don't have a brand kit?
No problem! I'll pull styling cues from your existing channel to keep everything consistent. Or, we can establish a simple visual direction that fits your niche.
How long does it take to get my thumbnails?
Once I have everything I need from you, I'll deliver your three thumbnails within 2-3 business days. Delays in sending the requested info may shift the timeline.
How do revisions work?
One round of revisions is included and applies to any (or all) of the three thumbnails. I ask that revision notes be submitted within 2 business days of delivery to keep your project on track. Additional revisions can be quoted separately if needed.
Can I edit the thumbnails later
Yes! I can provide a Canva link so you can tweak text or reuse the layout for future videos. You'll need a Canva account (free or pro), and I'll let you know if any pro-only elements are used.

Three high-resolution thumbnails (1280x720) designed for the same video will be included, each with a unique layout, tone, or framing to support YouTube's Test & Compare feature. All thumbnails are optimized for click-through rate while staying aligned with your brand and content style. Files will be delivered as individual JPG or PNG files, ready to upload.
✏️ Revisions
One round of revisions is included to refine layout, text, or image choices based on your feedback. Revisions apply to any and all of the three delivered thumbnails.
🔗 Editable Canva Link
Access to the Canva project used to create your thumbnails will be included. You'll be able to duplicate or modify the designs in the future. However, this does require a Canva account. (Pro features may be used, which may require pro-level access. I'll flag any such items.)
