Summary
I produced my own podcast, Through The Draft Line, for two years. In both the live and remote recording setting, I learned a lot about how to apply my existing audio engineering skills, having studied it for recording music in college, to the Podcasting space.
I also volunteered for a nonprofit in NYC, Human Impact Institute, editing podcasts with indigenous women in Spanish & Portuguese for their interactive art installation at Glasgow's Climate Summit. I will include both projects in the links!
Within the limitations of my time zone (CEST) I would be pleased to assist with recording, but am particularly keen on editing. The timeframe for edits will largely depend on the number of episodes or length of each. I hope to work with you!
What's included
Clean Podcast cuts to specific time limits
1) Removing dead air moments and room noise 2) Limiting the "ums" and "you knows" and other fillers as directed by the client. Every host is different and most of us use some sort of safety net word in this way, and removing most/all of them can make a huge difference. 3) Helping advise on the story arc of the show. If there need to be tough decisions on what to cut to hit a time, I can help or make those cuts as directed.
