Process
Kick-off call: Creative call discussing the client's vision, target audience, scope, needs, and wants of the project.
Discovery:
Market Research: Conduct research to understand industry trends, competitor products, and target audience preferences.
Strategy Development: Define the product strategy, including user journeys and the core value proposition of the web application.
Design: Craft beautiful pages in Figma optimized for mobile devices.
Mood Boards: Create mood boards to establish the visual direction, including color schemes, typography, and UI elements.
High-Fidelity Mockups: Design high-fidelity mockups for key pages, incorporating the visual identity and detailed UI elements.
Responsive Design: Ensure designs are responsive, adapting to different screen sizes and devices. Utilize a mobile-first approach, designing for smaller screens before scaling up to tablets and desktops.
Communication: Typically after the kick-off call, most of the communication is asynchronous (Slack, email, discord, Asana, whichever works best for you). I like to use tools like Loom and other video tools to better communicate and keep the project moving fast while saving time by reducing the # of meetings.

Style Guide: Create a comprehensive UI style guide detailing the design system, including colors, typography, grid systems, and UI components.
Design Specs: Provide detailed design specifications for developers, including responsive breakpoints, animations, and interaction details.
Asset Preparation: Prepare and organize all design assets for development, ensuring they are optimized for web use.
Post Launch: Most of my clients are repeat businesses, I create lasting and trusting relationships with my clients where they can count on me beyond the site launch.
