Process

Once I receive your service request, you'll receive a link to my Client questionnaire in Google Forms or Tally. (Can be completed on mobile device or desktop.)

The Client questionnaire is meant to understand your vision and to establish the scope.

You will be asked to include any image asset files or links (like current logo, images you want to use, etc.). - Optional

Once your questionnaire is received and the scope is agreed upon, please sign the agreement.

You'll receive several images and be asked to PICK ONE to establish the direction.

You'll receive updates including any revision requests within the scope of work.

Once completed, you'll receive a compressed (*.zip) file of all of the assets agreed upon via WeTransfer.

The entire process from receiving the Client questionnaire will take 5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).

  • What's included in the Book Cover Design?

    Your book cover design will include front cover, back cover and spine design.

  • Which book cover sizes do you cover?

  • How long until I receive my final product?

    Client questionnaires received between the hours of 10:00 a.m. (PST) and 4:30 p.m. (PST) on Monday through Thursday, will have a final product by the close of business (5:00 p.m. [PST]) in 3 to 5 business days.

  • I lost my files? How do I retrieve them?

    First check your SPAM or JUNK folder in your email. If it's not there, then search your email for your WeTransfer link. If you still do not see the files, then please contact me. You will incur a fee for re-sent file(s). Please check "Deliverables" section for details.

  • My WeTransfer link expired? How do I get a new link?

    Please contact me immediately. You will incur a fee for re-sent file(s). Please check "Deliverables" section for details.

  • It's 5:01 p.m. after 3 days. Where are my files?

    Deliverables are 3 to 5 business days which means Monday through Friday. Time is calculated by Pacific Standard Time (PST) which means that if you're on the east coast, you won't receive your files until 8:00 p.m. (EST - Eastern Standard Time). If you need the files earlier, please configure the time difference into your request.

  • I'm disatissfied with my final product. Can I receive a refund?

    I strive to take direction from you to actualize your vision in a brand or design. I use the information and direction that you provide throughout the process. Time and creativity are used to create your product. However, things happen and you may not be satisfied with the final product. Please contact me as soon as possible if you are not satisfied. *** A FULL refund is not available; however, let's discuss and see if we can remedy your dissatisfaction. ***

  • When does the project begin?

    The project begins when I receive your completed Client Design Questionnaire.

  • When is the project considered completed?

    The project is considered as completed when you've paid in full and you've received your files. Additional changes to finalized files are considered a *NEW* project and subject to a charge.

What's included

  • Client Design Questionnaire

    + Link to Client Design Questionnaire on Google Forms or Tally. + Job cannot begin until questionnaire is submitted to me. + Form is accessible via desktop or mobile.

  • Color Palette

    + 3 color palette options (pick one). + Black & white neutral color palettes are automatically included with palette choices.

  • Fonts

    + 2 Font revisions. + Fonts delivered in final project. + *For-profit corporations or commercial large brands susceptible to Unlimited Commercial Licenses, depending on project. (Licensing information will be forwarded to client to complete on their own.)

  • Prototypes

    + 3 Initial prototypes to set design direction. + Client selects image direction. + Designer holds all rights to designs not chosen, that is, Client may NOT use the sample designs for their project. + Selecting a different prototype after an initial selection is considered a Design Revision (Please see "Design Revisions"). ++ Changing prototype direction means that you have only 2 revisions remaining. + Selecting a prototype (without changing direction) means that you have 3 revisions available.

  • Design Revisions

    + Once design direction is established, client has 3 revisions available. + 3 Design revisions available (Ex., repositioning blocks, font size, images, etc.) + More than 3 revision requests will elicit an additional fee of $150/per revision.

  • Hi-Resolution Formats

    + JPG/PNG/TIFF - 1 (350+ dpi, hi-resolution) + PSD layers (zip filed) - 1

  • Transfer of Files

    + Zipped/Compressed + WeTransfer (Link sent to your email for retrieval.) - Desktop retrieval recommended. Link is available for only 7 DAYS, only. + *Expired or misplaced WeTransfer links. --> ++ Expired WeTransfer link(s) or misplaced file(s) can only be replaced to the original contact person, only. ++ Expired WeTransfer link(s) or misplaced file(s) will incur a fee of $50.00. ++ Re-sent misplaced link will not be sent until fee is received. ++ Please provide *at least* 3 hours notice for emergency links to be re-sent. . ++ Emergency links requested after 5:00 p.m. (PST) will incur a fee of $300.00, and will be sent no later than 10:00 p.m. (PST) and no earlier than 8:00 a.m. (PST). * Ca$h app and Venmo payments available for time-sensitive emergency link requests.
